Leicestershire batsman Greg Smith is currently out in Adelaide working on his game ahead of the new county season at the Darren Lehmann Cricket Academy.
The former England under 19 opener made a strong start to his first-class career with three centuries in 2010 but found the going tougher last season in a struggling side, averaging 27.60 for the season, and has travelled Down Under to ensure he hits the ground running in 2012.
In this video interview the 23-year-old describes his experience so far at the former Australia batsman’s academy, reveals his ambitions for the future and talks us through the dreaded ‘Snake Pit’.
