You might know that the AOC office has thrown its bushy might behind Movember this year. But the mixed successes of our staffers in growing a tache for the men’s health charity has been eclipsed by the effort of Allan Lamb, who is re-growing the iconic soup strainer of his playing days.
And now he’s stepped up his fundraising campaign by donating his England touring cap to the cause. The person who makes the biggest donation to Lamby’s Movember profile before the end of the month will win the cap as a prize.
On reviving the tache, which we think looks as glorious as ever, Lamb said: “A lot of friends of mine have had prostate cancer so I decided to get involved. I’m getting rather competitive in the last leg of the Movember month and I’m watching the Movember UK leader board very closely.
“My friends have been so generous but I know I can raise more funds publicly, so I’m offering my England Touring Cap to the person who makes the highest donation.”
Movember is a charity supporting men’s health issues, specifically prostate cancer, by encouraging people to ‘grow a mo’ during November and attract sponsorship.
