There was sunshine, pink balls and plenty of high-performing kit on show at Hove in June – as Newbery used the County Ground’s first ever day-night County Championship match to launch its 2018 gear ranges.
With Gloucestershire the visitors to Sussex, a healthy crowd enjoyed a beautiful seaside afternoon and evening watching the first day of the Division 2 clash – played in whites and with a pink Duke’s ball.
Meanwhile, in the permanent Newbery shop inside the ground, the long-lasting kit brand showed off all its latest ranges of gear set to be in shops ahead of next season.
The whole of the Heritage range – such as the Quantum, Kudos, Blitz and Triumph – which uses the finest English willow, as well as their equivalents in the more affordable Performance range were on show and available to test in the nets.
Not to mention the newly launched Newbery Bat Builder service, which puts you in control to create your own entirely bespoke blade – allowing you to choose length, weight, handle size, profile, the lot – before handing it over in a very grand presentation gun case. Bat keenos, this one’s got you written all over it.
Now there’s something for every cricketer at Newbery.
