In The Office

Elephants never forget, but they don’t remember as much as Sam Stow. AOC’s human encyclopaedia downloads another week’s worth of information from the part of his brain labelled ‘cricket’.

I’m so excited and I just can’t hide it. I’m about to lose control and I think I like it. It’s unlikely that The Pointer Sisters were anticipating a visit from Matt Prior when they sang their famous track back in 1982, but that’s exactly what I’m doing as I write this column. Who wouldn’t want to meet the world’s finest keeper batsman? I’m sure Matt’s really looking forward to it.
