When it comes to masterful technicians there are few better in world cricket than England’s silky strokemaker Ian Bell.
Having overcome a shaky start to his international career, the Warwickshire right-hander is now regarded as one of the finest batsmen in the game – and with a Test batting average of 89 in his last 19 Tests, it’s hard to argue.
His strokeplay all-round the wicket is a joy to watch, unless you happen to be on the opposing side, but one shot he plays with particular aplomb is the off drive.
